In in vitro diagnostic test for determining the presence of SARS-CoV-2 antigens in direct nasal swab samples. Antigen is generally detectable in upper respiratory tract during the early phase of infection. Antigens are present on the SARS-CoV-2 virus, and can be used as markers for disease exposure.

Directions of Use

1. To collect a nasal swab sample, carefully insert the swab into the nostril exhibiting the most visible drainage, or the nostril that is most congested if drainage is not visible. Using gentle rotation, push the swab (about 1.5cm into the nostril). Rotate the swab 5 times or more against the nasal wall then slowly remove from the nostril. Using the same swab, repeat sample collection in the other nostril.
2. Peel off the foil film of the extraction tube which contains buffer. Set the extraction tube on the stand hole of the package box.
3. After sample collection, insert the swab into the sample extraction tube, plunge and press the swab tip up and down in the fluid for a minimum of 15 seconds, taking care not to splash contents out of the tube.
4. Remove the swab while squeezing the sides of the tube to extract the liquid from the swab.
5. Press the included dispensing tip onto the extraction tube containing the processed sample. Mix thoroughly by swirling or flicking the bottom of the tube.
6. Invert the extraction tube and hold it vertically. Gently squeeze the ridged body of the tube, dispensing three (3) drops of the processed specimen into the sample well.
7. Read the results which should be ready at 15-20 minutes after adding the processed sample to the sample well. Results read after 20 minutes are invalid.
8. After reading the results, place all the components of the test kit in the provided biohazard sample bag and dispose according to local regulation. Do not reuse any used components.
